Cambodia is becoming more and more an important player in global supply chains. Its trade with the world is steadily growing through imports of material and exports of finished products. This comes with a huge increase in container traffic. Up until now, the clearance processes rely mostly on the exchange of paper documents.
The ‘Digitising Global Maritime Trade‘ (DGMT) project aims to enable businesses and Cambodia Customs to move from paper-based documents to exchanging digital documents to allow for faster clearance processes.
